Location: Dallas, TX

SUMMER INVESTMENTS INTERN (RISING SENIOR)
The Summer Investments Intern will support Berkeley Partners’ Investments team in the evaluation and analysis of both equity and credit investment opportunities, including acquisitions, joint ventures, developments, and structured credit investments across the Firm’s target markets.
This internship is designed for a highly motivated rising senior with a strong interest in real estate private equity, real estate credit, or institutional investing. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to underwriting, market research, and transaction execution while working closely with senior investment professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The position will be based in Dallas, TX and is a full-time summer internship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in financial and qualitative analysis of equity and credit investment opportunities using Excel and Argus.
- Support the development and review of cash flow models, valuation analyses, and investment assumptions.
- Conduct market research, including rent, sales, debt market, and competitive set analysis. - Assist with due diligence activities, including lease reviews and tenant analysis.
- Help prepare materials for internal investment committee discussions.
- Participate in ad hoc analytical projects and team meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. - Demonstrated record of academic achievement.
- Demonstrated interest in real estate investing, private equity, or real estate credit.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
